Description
Prolific, adaptable, and active. P. scabers are one of the best isopods to use as a general clean-up crew. Although they may not be flashy, they have a massive appetite for protein and make cleaning up droppings a thing of the past. As with most protein-hungry isopods, we don't recommend them for geckos or amphibians, but they do amazing work for bigger carnivores. As long as they have a moist patch, they are very adaptable to most tropical to temperate enclosures.
